*A graphic on the front page of Friday’s Sports section misstated the day alleged beer-tosser Johnny Macchione turned himself in to authorities. He met with police and was charged with two misdemeanors on Thursday, as noted correctly in the story.
* A story in the Nation & World section on Aug. 2 about congressional efforts to overhaul the nation’s health-care system incorrectly said that the bill approved by the House Energy and Commerce Committee would mandate that businesses with more than $500,000 a year in revenue provide health insurance for their employees. In fact, it would apply to businesses with more than $500,000 in annual payroll.
*An item in The Blotter on Friday gave an incorrect address for a Metra train station where an armed robbery occurred July 19. The robbery took place in the 1000 block of East 83rd Street.
