LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian have gone public. The two actors — who both are now separated from their spouses — spent the day together at a golf course Thursday in Valencia, Calif., usmagazine.com reports. Rimes and Cibrian have been the target of tabloid rumors since the two co-starred in a Lifetime movie.

The date Sony Pictures Entertainment will begin selling tickets for “Michael Jackson: This Is It,” which is more than a month before the Oct. 28 start of the film’s two-week run. The film uses behind-the-scenes footage of rehearsals for the singer’s London concerts that were canceled after his June 25 death.
New Norah
Norah Jones is expanding her musical horizons — and entourage. The “Don’t Know Why” singer is teaming up with Ryan Adams, Okkervil River’s Will Sheff and members of Tom Waits’ Mule Variations band for her upcoming album, rollingstone.com reports. “I knew I wanted to try some different things on this album,” Jones told rollingstone.com. Jones’ fourth studio album is due in November.
She’s baaaaack?
Is Heather Locklear moving back to Melrose? Locklear reportedly is in talks to reprise her “special guest star” role as ad exec Amanda Woodward in The CW’s update of “Melrose Place,” the L.A. Times reports. “Melrose” Executive Producer Todd Slavkin has said he already has a story line in mind for the actress. “The door is always open for Heather Locklear,” he said.
Family outing
Brad and Angelina are expanding their clan again, but it’s not what you think. As the family settled into their chateau in the South of France, the couple took sons Maddox, 8, and Pax, 5, to a local pet and garden shop to buy gerbils and goldfish on Thursday, usmagazine.com reports. Maddox also got a cactus. How cute.

Quentin Tarantino has some suggestions for your NetFlix queue. The director of the new WWII comedy “Inglourious Basterds” offered The Associated Press this list of five WW II films he loves:
