It’s always fun to relive a significant moment in time, and there’s no better way to go back in time than through song. Fans of the band Cracker will be transported back to the mid-’90s, when the group breaks out hits like “Low” and “Eurotrash Girl” at Skokie’s Backlot Bash. This outdoor event will also find Cracker’s Johnny Hickman and David Lowery looking to the future as they perform tracks from the band’s latest release, “Sunrise in the Land of Milk and Honey.” The weekend-long fest also features performances by Tributosaurus (as Led Zeppelin), and The Dynamites featuring Charles Walker. Enjoy carnival rides, silent movies at Skokie Theater, an arts and crafts show, a classic car show and three days of bingo. It’s an aural, visual and textile smorgasbord. 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Noon to 8 p.m. Sunday. Downtown Skokie, Oakton Street between Lincoln and Laramie Avenues, Skokie; free; 847-674-1500 or backlotbash.com
