The top 10 finalists from Season 8 of “American Idol” bring their talents to the stage for the “American Idols Live” summer tour. The Idols have been logging many miles on this 50-state tour and keeping fans informed on what they are experiencing on the road. You can see the interviews at americanidol.com. The Idols have had some interesting incidents — food poisoning, handcuffs thrown on stage. But most say they love being onstage and entertaining the fans who cheered and voted for them on the TV show that made them instant stars. Instantaneous fame also comes with perks. For instance, Adam Lambert (part of the tour) received a recording deal with RCA Records with plans for an album release in the fall. Even though all but one of the performers on this tour didn’t win the ultimate “Idol” title, it seems they’ve won over an audience just the same. 7 p.m. Wednesday at Allstate Arena, 6920 N. Mannheim Rd., Rosemont; $43.50-$69.50; 800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com
