Staying together for 20 years is quite a feat, be it a romantic relationship, a friendship or the most tumultuous of all partnerships: a band. Help celebrate the 20th anniversary of Those Darn Accordions at FitzGerald’s with the “squeezebox crusaders” as they embark on a 20-city tour to commemorate two decades of rock ‘n’ roll — accordion style. The San Francisco group performs rollicking original tunes that make you reassess preconceived notions about the accordion. Erase those images of polka and Weird Al Yankovic from your head. Think of front man Paul Rogers as the accordion’s Eddie Van Halen — although it can be assumed that the six members of Those Darn Accordions find all colors of M&Ms acceptable backstage. 9 p.m. Saturday, FitzGerald’s, 6615 Roosevelt Rd., Berwyn; $15; 708-788-2118 or fitzgeraldsnightclub.com
