*In Friday’s Sports section, the start for the Ansell Cut Protection 150 race at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet was incorrect. The race was Friday. The winner of the event was Justin Lofton.
*An editorial on Thursday said this week marked the 40th anniversary of the 1968 Democratic Convention. It was the 41st anniversary.
*An article on Thursday about the debate over male circumcision incorrectly quoted Dr. Edgar Schoen as saying the procedure could reduce the rate of urinary tract infections by 10 percent. He actually said 10-fold.
*A Metro story on Aug. 21 incorrectly stated Ald. George Cardenas moved his ward office shortly after he and relatives bought the building that houses it. He moved the office to the building sometime around September 2006, renting the office until buying it in February 2007.
