For a month, Ben & Jerry’s “Chubby Hubby” ice cream will be known as “Hubby Hubby,” in celebration of the state’s legalization of gay marriage. The chain, launched in 1978 by self-described ex-hippies Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, will offer “Hubby Hubby” throughout September, but only at stores in Vermont, home to the original Ben & Jerry’s.
