Ruth R. Wharton, M.D. of Ocala, FL, formerly of River Forest, IL died Monday, Aug. 31 after a long illness.
She was a physician who had attended medical school in Geneva, Switzerland.
She is survived by her son Seth; granddaughter Rebecca; grandson Jonathan; niece Susanna Desjardien; niece Joan Rosenfelt; and nephew DanielRosenfelt.
A private service will be held.
