A Joliet-area man recently told Will County sheriff’s police that a prostitute stole his $300 gold necklace. The man, 41, said he was sitting on his front porch in the 300 block of Briggs Street when a woman passed by, offering sex. After he invited her on the porch for a beer, she grabbed the gold chain from his neck and fled, police said.
