Saints 48, Eagles 22: Drew Brees tossed three more touchdown passes and completed 25 of 34 for 311 yards and one interception. Kevin Kolb threw for 391 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
Bengals 31, Packers 24: Carson Palmer was 15 of 23 for 185 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions. Defensive end Antwan Odom tied a team high with five sacks and Cedric Benson rushed for 141 yards.
Bears 17, Steelers 14: Robbie Gould booted a 44-yard field goal with 15 seconds left. Jay Cutler hit rookie Johnny Knox with the tying touchdown midway through the fourth.
49ers 23, Seahawks 10: Frank Gore had touchdown runs of 79 and a career-best 80 yards and finished with 207 yards on 16 carries. He became only the second player in NFL history to have two TD runs of 79 or more yards in the same game, joining Barry Sanders.
Ravens 31, Chargers 26: Joe Flacco threw two touchdown passes and Willis McGahee ran for two more. Philip Rivers almost single-handedly kept the short-handed Chargers in the game, throwing for a career-high 436 yards and two touchdowns.
Vikings 27, Lions 13: Brett Favre set an NFL record with his 271st straight start in the regular season, then threw two touchdown passes and Adrian Peterson added a 27-yard touchdown run.
Texans 34, Titans 31: Matt Schaub threw for 357 yards and four touchdowns, and Kris Brown kicked a 23-yard field goal in the closing minutes. The Titans’ Chris Johnson scored three TDs.
Falcons 28, Panthers 20: Matt Ryan threw three touchdown passes in the first half. Jake Delhomme completed 25 of 41 for 308 yards and a touchdown — and just one interception — for the Panthers.
Cardinals 31, Jaguars 17: Kurt Warner completed his first 15 passes and broke the NFL’s single-game record for completion percentage. Warner was 24 of 26 for 243 yards, with two touchdowns.
Bills 33, Buccaneers 20: Donte Whitner returned an interception 76 yards for a touchdown and Terrell Owens scored on a 43-yard catch in his home debut.
Broncos 27, Browns 6: Pass-rusher Elvis Dumervil tied a franchise record with four sacks. Kyle Orton passed for 263 yards and a touchdown and Correll Buckhalter had a 45-yard touchdown run.
Raiders 13, Chiefs 10: Darren McFadden’s 5-yard run with 1:07 left answered the Chiefs’ go-ahead touchdown. Matt Cassel, making his long-awaited debut, put the Chiefs on top 10-6 with a 29-yard TD to Dwayne Bowe.
Redskins 9, Rams 7: Shaun Suisham kicked field goals of 21, 28 and 23 yards as the Redskins had four drives of more than 60 yards that faltered inside the 10.
