A 36-year-old Bourbonnais man who fell asleep at the wheel before sunup last week drove through two farm fields before landing near the intersection of Harlem Avenue and Interstate Highway 57 near Monee, Will County sheriff’s police said.
Deputies ticketed the driver for failing to report an accident. The man told deputies he nodded off Saturday while driving southbound on Harlem.
