Space might not be the final frontier for “Star Trek’s” Chris Pine: According to Variety.com, he’s in talks to revive the movie franchise based on novelist Tom Clancy’s spy thrillers.
Pine, who shot to fame as a young Capt. Kirk in this spring’s “Star Trek” reboot, would play CIA analyst Jack Ryan in the Clancy reboot, Variety says.
It reportedly is unclear whether Pine will film a “Star Trek” sequel before or after he would play Ryan on the big screen, should he choose to accept the mission.
