– Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews returned to the ice for the first time since suffering a concussion Oct. 21 as he joined teammates for Wednesday’s practice at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, Ariz.
– Left-hander Ted Lilly underwent a left shoulder arthroscopy Tuesday, the Cubs announced Wednesday. According to a press release, General Manager Jim Hendry said Lilly will be ready to return in April.
