Jackson seeks allowance
The King of Pop’s pop is asking for money. Reuters reports that Joe Jackson filed a petition Friday in L.A. seeking an allowance from Michael Jackson’s estate, saying he was supported by his son for years. According to the filing, Jackson claims his son’s estate has earned about $100 million since Michael Jackson’s death on June 25.

Who said celebrities are private people? Some actually leave their doors unlocked. That’s according to a search warrant released in the case involving a teen burglary gang that broke into the homes of celebrities, including Lindsay Lohan and Megan Fox. People reports that about $2 million worth of stolen goods has been recovered so far, but that police said that’s a preliminary figure.

Get ready America, Susan Boyle is coming for a visit. The 48-year-old singing sensation is headed to “Dancing With the Stars” next week. Don’t worry, she won’t be breaking it down — she’s only singing. “She’s excited and happy,” her brother, John Boyle, told people.com. “She loves America and loves the people. Apparenty, that only goes for his personal life; he told People he’s “a big believer in onscreen romance.”
