Too hot: Devin Aromashodu
Can’t say enough about the guy they call D.A. Aromashodu not only had the game-winning, 39-yard touchdown reception, he played big the entire game. He had two catches for 72 yards in overtime and ended up with a career-high 150 receiving yards on seven catches. The Bears needed a boost in the receiving game, and Aromashodu delivered, and give Jay Cutler credit for getting him the ball.
Too cold: Robbie Gould
Usually Mr. Reliable, the Bears kicker missed the potential game-winning field goal at the start of overtime. Gould sailed the 45-yard attempt wide right, allowing the Vikings the opportunity to pull off the come-frombehind victory. It was an unfortunate mishap for Gould, who has been consistent all season. He entered Monday night’s game 4 of 6 in field goals from 40 to 49 yards and 2 for 3 from 50-plus
Just right: Danieal Manning
Devin who? Manning showed his is the Bears most electrifying return man, at least this season, with two crucial kickoff returns. On the first, Manning sprinted 57 yards to give the Bears the ball at the Vikings’ 34. It set up Jay Cutler’s 2-yard touchdown pass to Desmond Clark. Then, in the fourth quarter, Manning returned one 60 yards, and might have gone the distance if he hadn’t slipped. That return set up another touchdown.
