– In Tuesday’s Sports section, a story reviewing the football season gave an incorrect year for the BCS title game between Texas and USC. It was in 2006.

– A story Tuesday about gay immigration rights erroneously referred to a person’s green card when it meant her work visa. The story also left the incorrect impression that she was laid off from her job. In fact, most of the person’s work unit was eliminated, but she said she kept the same job and was not at risk of deportation. In addition, the story understated how many members of Congress sent a letter to President Barack Obama on gay immigration rights. Sixty members signed on.

– An item in some editions of the Feb. 3 Chicagoland Extra incorrectly stated the number of Aunt Martha’s Youth Service Center locations. There are 50 locations in 17 Illinois counties.
