Chicago police arrested a southwest suburban man at his home Saturday, and he was charged with firearm violations.
Jody Haley, 42, of the 7200 block of Park Avenue in Summit, was arrested after police executed a search warrant on his home and garage Saturday afternoon, according to a statement from Chicago police.
Police said they found 12 firearms, including five semi-automatic handguns, three revolvers and four rifles, along with ammunition. They also seized cannabis.
Haley, who police described as a convicted felon and a gang member, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and possession of cannabis.
