Winning pitcher Brian Baldwin tossed a complete game allowing five hits and striking out seven for Brother Rice (5-1).

Zach Pearlstein was 4-for-4 with three doubles, a home run and three RBIs. Josh Nevers also had a two-run homer and four RBIs. Deerfield (3-2) hit seven homers as a team in the game.

Downers Grove North 11, Glenbard East 8
Downers Grove North (1-3) scored nine runs in the fourth inning after being down 8-0. Anthony Ciango (RBI) and Brian Jageilo (two RBIs) each went 2-for-4 to spark the comeback.

Fenwick 15, Curie 4
Joe Horrigan led Fenwick (6-1) going 2-for-4 at the plate while collecting six RBIs on a three-run homer and a base-loaded triple.

Alex Petkunas was 5-for-5 with a grand slam and seven RBIs for Herscher (4-4).

James McCraren went six-and-one-third innings striking out 10 for Highland Park (4-0). Josh Lipnick (3-for-4, 3 RBIs), Jason Goldstein (4-for-5, 3 RBIs) and Frank Maione (2-for-3, 4 RBIs) led the offense for the Giants.

Mike Sweeney pitched all five innings for Notre Dame (3-1) giving up one earned run and striking out seven. Matt Moser was 2-for-2 with a double, two runs scored and three RBIs and Jimmy Herick added a single and scored for the Dons.

Andrew Godbold had the game winnning RBI for Oak Park.

Oak Park (6-0) flexed their muscle hitting five home runs in the game. Joh Frueh had a grand slam and solo shot while Will Polley also hit two solo homers. Jack Picchiotti chipped in a home run as well.
