Subaru: 29,443 2010 Legacy and Outback models to repair cracked CVT cooler hoses to prevent a fluid leak. 5/6/10

Chevrolet: 40,028 2005-06 Corvette sports cars with a tilt-and-telescoping steering column. Repeated movement of the column can cause a signal interruption, illuminating a “service active handling system” light and applying the brakes unexpectedly. 4/26/10

Honda: 167,000 2004-08 Acura TSX sedans to repair power steering hoses that could deteriorate and cause a fire under the hood. 4/30/10

General Motors: 162,129 2006-10 Hummer H3 and H3T SUVs to secure the hood louver to prevent it from rattling and detaching from the vehicle. 4/29/10

Toyota: 50,000 2003 Sequoia SUVs to upgrade the electronic stability-control system, which may engage unexpectedly at slow speeds and hamper acceleration. 4/28/10

Infiniti: 134,215 2005-07 G35 coupes and 2005-06 G35 sedans, because a wiring harness can wear and prevent the passenger-side air bag from deploying. 4/20/10

Lexus: 9,400 2010 GX 460 SUVs to update the vehicle stability-control software to prevent rollovers. 4/19/10

Ford: 33,256 2010 Ford Explorer and Explorer Sport Trac SUVs and Fusion sedans and Mercury Milan sedans and Mountaineer SUVs to replace the reclining mechanism that could cause the front seatbacks and headrest to fall in a collision. 4/16/10

Toyota: An undetermined number of 1998-2010 Sienna minivans in cold-weather states, where road salt can cause the spare-tire carrier assembly cable to corrode and break. 4/16/10

Volvo: 2,494 2010 XC90 crossovers to inspect and possibly replace the fuel pressure line, which can develop a leak. 4/15/10

Acura: 1,854 2010 ZDX crossovers to inspect and replace, as necessary, the dashboard cover to allow proper deployment of the passenger-side air bag. 4/9/10

BMW: An undetermined number of 2010 X5 crossovers to bring side marker lamps up to federal specifications. 4/8/10

General Motors: 4,485 2010 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana 2500, 3500 and 4500 series to inspect and replace the alternator, generator and regulator, which may short. 4/5/10

Porsche: Nine 2011 Boxster Spyders to replace the sun shield’s locking hook to keep it from opening at high speeds. 4/5/10

Suzuki: 15 Equator pickups to inspect and replace fasteners securing the passenger air bag. 4/5/10

Porsche: 3,176 2010 Panamera sedans to install an extra locking element on the seat-belt-anchoring system on the front seats to provide adequate protection in a crash. 3/30/10

Nissan: 4,039 2010 Frontiers, Pathfinders and Xterras to tighten the fasteners securing the passenger air-bag module and the steering shaft positioning bracket. 3/29/10

Subaru: 1,585 2010 Tribeca SUVs to fix an improperly routed door-latch cable that could catch in the window assembly and allow the door to unlock. 3/17/10

Cadillac: 2003-07 CTS sedans in cold weather states to replace the front brake hose fittings at the caliper, which can corrode and leak. 3/15/10

Honda: 412,000 2007-08 Element crossovers and Odyssey minivans to flush air that has entered the brake system, which can make the pedal feel too soft, and seal it. 3/15/10

General Motors: 9,137 2009-10 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans to replace the knobs controlling the heating, cooling and ventilation system. They could break and decrease driver visibility. 3/10/10

Hyundai: 2010 Tucson crossovers to reprogram the module controlling the passenger air bag so it will deploy properly. 3/5/10

Jeep: 3,498 2010 Commander and Grand Cherokee SUVs to inspect the rear track bar bushing retaining hoop and replace the rear track bar if positioned improperly. 3/3/10

General Motors: 1,050,889 2005-10 Chevrolet Cobalt and 2007-10 Pontiac G5 cars with electric power steering to replace the unit, which could lose power unexpectedly. 3/1/10

Nissan: 179,383 2008-10 Armada SUVs, Titan pickups and Infiniti QX56 SUVs and 2008-09 Quest minivans to inspect the brake pedal pivot pin for proper specification and replace the brake assembly if necessary. 2/26/10

Nissan: 340,000 2005-09 Armada and Infiniti QX56 SUVs and Titan pickups to replace the fuel tank sender unit, which may indicate the vehicle has a quarter-tank of gas left when it’s empty. 2/26/10

Hyundai: 5,893 2011 Sonata sedans to replace front-door lock switches that may remain unlatched and allow the door to open while the vehicle is in motion. 2/24/10

Mitsubishi: 56,113 2004 Endeavor SUVs to replace the fuel-filler pipe to prevent leaks and possible fires. 2/24/10

Mazda: 12,300 2010 CX-9 crossovers with heated front seats to install an additional ground wire on the controls to keep the seat from overheating. 2/19/10

Toyota: 8,000 2010 Tacoma pickups to inspect and replace the front propeller shaft, which could have cracked in manufacturing. 2/11/10

General Motors: 14,216 2004 Saab 9-3 sedans to replace the driver-side seat belt retractor to make sure it retracts. 2/9/10

Toyota: 148,599 2010 Prius and Lexus HS250h sedans to reprogram an ABS unit for proper braking. 2/9/10

Toyota: 1,314 2010 Camry sedans with 4-cylinder engines to adjust or replace the brake tube in the left rear position. 2/9/10

Mitsubishi: 2,307 2010 Galant sedans to inspect and possibly replace the transmission oil cooler, which may not have enough plating to prevent a leak. 2/2/10

BMW: 10,400 2009-10 7 Series and 2010 550i Gran Turismo sedans because the tire pressure label overstates passenger capacity. 1/29/10

Toyota: 1,093,000 2008-10 Highlander and 2009-10 Corolla, Venza and Matrix vehicles to replace the accelerator pedal that may become trapped by the driver’s floor mat and cause out-of-control acceleration. This is an expansion of a recall of 3.8 million other Toyota vehicles announced in 2009. 1/27/10

Toyota: 2,230,661 2005-10 Avalon, 2007-10 Camry, 2009-10 Corolla, Matrix, RAV4, 2010 Highlander, 2008-10 Sequoia and 2007-10 Tundra vehicles to install a reinforcement bar to prevent the accelerator pedal from sticking. 1/21/10

Audi: 6,054 2009 Q5 crossovers to replace a clip that holds trim on the A-pillar that could dislodge when the side curtain air bags deploy. 12/14/09

Volvo: 5,253 2010 XC60 crossover to reattach the rail cover to prevent damage to the fuel line and leaks. 12/9/09

Ford: 231 2010 F-650 and F-750 trucks to inspect S-cam tubes on the brakes and lubricate as needed. Dealers also will inspect and repair the chassis wire harness. 12/7/09
