UPDATE: Chicago police say they have found a 62-year-old West Side man who went missing Monday
Police issued a “high-risk” alert for a 62-year-old man who went missing Monday on the West Side.
Idel Avilles was last seen in the 4900 block of West Wolfram Street, police said. He was wearing a light blue shirt, dark jeans and black gym shoes. Aviles has memory loss and limited memory capacity from an earlier injury, police said.
Aviles is Hispanic, with a light complexion and has tattoos on his upper right and left arms. The tattoo on his right arm says “Crusita,” and the other arm has a cross and the name “Carmen.”
Aviles has gray and white shoulder length hair and a full beard and mustache. He is 5-foot-3 and 190 pounds, police said.
