With the focus at least temporarily turning to what backup quarterback on the street the Bears will pursue, Jay Cutler had a solid performance Monday afternoon.

Although he finished 17 of 28 in 7-on-7 and full-squad drills, two passes were dropped. Like he did last week with Matt Forte, he hit streaking running back Chester Taylor on a deep ball, something to watch for in weeks to come.

With Johnny Knox sidelined with a minor hamstring issue, Cutler worked the ball more to Devin Aromashodu, who picked up where he left off last season in the exhibition opener at San Diego.
