A TCF Bank branch was robbed this afternoon in the Loop, Chicago police said.
The holdup happened about 2:30 p.m. at the bank at 29 E. Madison St. Officer Darryl Baety, a police spokesman, said the male suspect did not have a weapon when holding up the bank.
He fled the bank west toward State Street, Baety said.
The FBI was handling the investigation.
