The Bulls, who overcame a 21-point deficit to win their home opener Saturday night against the Pistons, look forward to establishing a winning culture at the United Center this season.
“It’s always important to win … important to win at home and important to win on the road,” said first-year coach Tom Thibodeau. “We just want to keep making progress every day. Like we mentioned in training camp, we want to be a 48-minute team. We’re making steps in that direction.”
The Bulls were 24-17 at home last season, en route to a 41-41 overall record under Vinny Del Negro. The Bulls play host to Portland on Monday and the Knicks on Thursday.
“We know we have a great crowd … it’s going to be fun to have our fans behind us,” center Joakim Noah said.
