It seems there must be a middle ground between charter schools and public schools. Charter schools do take public funding away from public schools, but they also seem to achieve more on a lower budget. Why can’t there be a compromise where we take the good from both systems. If allowing a more flexible curriculum may lead to better academics (and more involved administrators), why can’t public schools be amended to allow that?
