Regarding the story of the toddler who fell down the elevator shaft at the hotel (“Inspectors suspended after toddler falls in elevator shaft,” Jan. 28), I understand two elevator inspectors have been suspended.
Where were the parents? Why was a toddler left to roam the halls and elevator of a hotel by himself? It looks to me like we shouldn’t be laying the blame on the inspectors.
