Regarding Caryl Culp’s letter about the rising gas prices (“Gas prices,” Jan. 31). She wonders why the media and the president haven’t made an issue of this destructive tactic. I couldn’t help but remember the $5.00 per gallon price of the Bush administration. Maybe we are all still breathing a sigh of relief that the price is not higher. I personally would like to see the gas at 17 cents a gallon that I paid when I got my license.
But alas, I probably will be getting around with wings (I hope) before that happens.
