Someone should tell the NFL that choosing someone like Christina Aguilera to sing our nation’s National Anthem is a huge slap in the face to most Americans and especially our brave servicemen and women stationed around the world. It is not meant to be sung like a ballad or a love song, it should be sung strong and proud like the nation it represents! I hope the NFL would get Jim Cornelison because he sings it properly, with respect, and he won’t forget the words. Shame on the NFL.
