” Feb. 9), here’s an adult thought: If the idea is to make taxation fair, how about doing it the way the federal government does it. No sales tax, just an income tax. If Eric Zorn’s concern is for the lower-income citizens, then the lower your income, the less you pay in taxes. How much more simple can it be? We have just too, too many taxes and many can be bypassed. And we haven’t even considered reduction of government spending ?yet!
