If an electric vehicle user only used their monthly subscription, the average driver would save $1,099 per year in fill-up costs over a gasoline-powered vehicle based on gasoline priced at $3 per gallon.

What if something goes wrong with the charge?
The charging stations are connected to a network that lets both the company and the user know immediately if a charger disconnects or stops working. An attendant will be on site for two months after the opening of each charging station.
Where will the public stations be located?
Exact locations have not been disclosed. But Dominick’s has been named as a partner, which suggests some will be placed in its parking lots. In Chicago, there will be 23. Another 27 plazas are slated for elsewhere in Cook County, five for Lake County, two for McHenry County, two for Kane County, nine for DuPage County and five for Will County.
