And congratulations to the senior class of Lane Tech College Prep. Lane’s graduating class of 2011 has earned the highest average ACT score in the school’s 100-year history. Tremendous!
And congratulations to the Whitney Young Chess Team, who won the Illinois State Championship this past weekend. Northside College Prep’s chess team did well, too, finishing 8th out of 130 teams in the tournament.
It seems like great things are being accomplished all throughout the Chicago Public Schools.
