Chicago’s new mayor-elect has not assumed office yet, so two days after the election John Kass comes up with his ill-conceived column “When will Rahm lose it?” How nasty can you get before Emanuel has even been sworn in? I believe it is time for Mr. Kass to modify his continuing attack mode against City Hall and its fifth-floor occupants. What has his decade-long diatribe really achieved? I would venture that his columns pale in comparison to the achievements of outgoing Mayor Daley and his administration, for which Chicago will forever be appreciative.
