Chris Maranto had a two-run home run and Austin Ozog knocked two doubles for Mundelein (1-0).

Taylor Schoenfeld was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs and Reed Karsten was 2-for-2 with a triple and three runs scored for Marengo.

Loren Krzysko went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs to lead Barrington. Tess Bolger added two hits and two RBIs and Liz Owen had three hits and an RBI.

Glenbrook North 5, Lake Zurich 4

Glenbrook North’s Jenny McTague went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored. She also earned the win, allowing just three hits and striking out six. Lindsay Synek had a two-run home run in the win.

Megan Sowa was 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs and two runs scored for Warren. Abbey Anderson knocked in three runs and Sarah Shanders went 2-for-4.

Sydney Rhonstadt scored three goals and Kaitlyn Reynolds had two for Herscher. Gabi Tobek had three assists in the win.
