Carolyn Roberts earned the win for De La Salle (1-0), going three innings and striking out four. Alex Garza was 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBIs and Anisa McHugh had a home run and three RBIs.

Kristen Bianchi went 4-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs for Jones. Sophomore Abigail Ogrentz struck out 10 on the mounds and had the game-winning hit in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Caitlyn Balandis allowed just three hits and struck out 14 for Reavis (1-0). Sarah Saunders had two hits and two runs scored and Sam Mangiapane drove in three in the win.
