Winning pitcher Brandon Feliciano struck out 14 and allowed just two hits. Reggie Haynes had the big bat for Prosser, going 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs.





SOFTBALL

De La Salle 10, Curie 0 (5 inn.)

Carolyn Roberts earned the win for De La Salle (1-0), going three innings and striking out four. Alex Garza was 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBIs and Anisa McHugh had a home run and three RBIs.

Jones 10, Amundsen 9

Kristen Bianchi went 4-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs for Jones. Sophomore Abigail Ogrentz struck out 10 on the mounds and had the game-winning hit in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Palatine 5, Prairie Ridge 1

Reavis 3, Chicago Christian 0

Caitlyn Balandis allowed just three hits and struck out 14 for Reavis (1-0). Sarah Saunders had two hits and two runs scored and Sam Mangiapane drove in three in the win.

Liz Owen had a 2-run, RBI double in the sixth inning to give Barrington (2-0) the lead and the win. Kiley Dolezel pitched the complete game win, striking out eight.

Abby Anderson was 1-for-2 with a double and two walks for Warren (2-0). Marcee Olvera had the game-winning RBI in the sixth inning.
