have spoken and there are 21 food establishments tapped to star among the

2011 Great Neighborhood Restaurants and Resources

. Some of these you may have been to. Perhaps Three Floyd’s Brewery in Munster, Ind. Others, say Aroy Thai (4654 N. Damen), you haven’t gotten around to trying. Maybe this is the push you need to give them a try.

Certainly that’s what happened to LTH founder Gary Wiviott. Take GNR newcomer Mr. D’s Shish-Kabobs (6656 W. Diversey). Wiviott had never been there. And now?

“It was fantastic,” he tells the Stew. “Pork tenderloin kebabs and really great french fries.”
