,” April 12), but he missed the most crucial one: deductions for dependents. There are too many people and too few jobs in this country, so why should the federal tax code encourage people to propagate? A simple solution would be to reduce the deduction amount for each child dependent. First child is $5000, second child is $2500 and third or more is $0.
