Jon Savarise went the distance allowing just one earned run and striking out 6 for Loyola (4-8, 3-0). He was also 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI in the win. Logan Spurlin (2-for-3, 2B, 1 RBI), Danny Rafferty (2B, RBI) and Eric Hagman (RBI) also powered the Rambler offense.

Sam Travis was 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBIs and Kevin DeFilippis was 3-for-3 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs for Providence (13-0, 3-0).

Grant Van Haelst had a walk-off home run in the bottom of the eighth to make himself the winning pitcher for Reed-Custer (10-9, 2-2). He struck out 8 while allowing 2 earned runs. Alex Hagberg also homered in the win.
