Ray Hunnicutt went 2-for-4 with 2 doubles and 4 RBIs and Nick Hahn was 4-for-5 with a double and 3 RBIs for Burlington Central (17-7, 8-2).

Matt Panek allowed just 3 hits and struck out 7 and Michael Vilardo went 3-for-4 with 2 RBIs for Cary-Grove (18-8, 14-5).

Crystal Lake South 4, McHenry 3 (8 innings)

The Gators scored 2 runs in the bottom of the eighth on a bases loaded walk and an infield grounder to get the win.

Deerfield 8, Von Steuben 4

Jon Smirles went 2-for-4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBIs and Scott Ingram was 3-for-4 with an RBI for Deerfield (10-15, 6-7). Max Mazzetta tossed 6 innings and struck out 2 for the win.

Joe Perricone, Sean Thompson and Trevor Haas were all 3-for-3 and scored a combined 6 runs for Hersey (15-12, 8-6).

Max Boryszewski went 3-for-4 with a run scored and 2 RBIs for Lake Park (16-11).

Winning pitcher Jose Reyes threw a 1-hitter and went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Little Village (17-1).

Steve San Hamel tossed a 2-hitter, striking out 3 to get the win for Maine South (14-8). Kyle Richardson went 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI and Will Krug had a double and an RBI in the win.

Jack Gavin earned the win on the mound. Austin Ozog was 2-for-4 with 2 doubles and Billy McMahon was 2-for-3 with a double for Mundelein (23-4).

Steven Bolyer went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBIs and William Patterson was 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs for Calumet (16-4, 14-0).

Dominic Olszta had 2 doubles and 3 RBIs and Joe Houlihan had a double and 2 RBIs for Providence (25-3). Kevin DeFilippis had 3 hits in the win.

Colton Lopez earned the win in both games, going 2-1/3 innings in game one and striking out 5, and pitching 1-1/3 innings in the nightcap, striking out 4. He was also 4-for-6 in the double header.

Winning pitcher Matt Stock gave up 5 hits and 2 earned runs in a complete game for St. Ignatius (19-13, 11-8 Catholic White).

Adam Walton went 2-for-2 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs and Brandon Waters was 3-for-3 with a double for Stevenson.

Jeremy Wagner threw a no-hitter, striking out 7 and walking 1 for Wauconda (14-9, 8-2 North Suburban Prairie).

Joe Paparone stole home in the second inning and Matt Williams had 2 hits to lead York. Ryan Hinchley went 4-1/3 innings, allowing just 2 hits and striking out 9 to get the win.

Katie Christner went 2-for3 with a double and 2 RBIs to lead Andrew (20-8, 11-1). Brooke Hofer allowed 4 hits and struck out 3 in her complete game win.

Loren Krzysko was 4-for-4 with 2 home runs and 8 RBIs for Barrington (22-10, 10-4 MSL West). Her second home run was her 11th of the season, a school record.

Ashley Quinlan went 2-for-2 with a 2-run home run and Kasey Otte had a triple for Chicago Christian (15-10, 11-4). Becky DeRuiter allowed just 1 walk and 1 hit batter while striking out 6 for the win.

Taylor Ward allowed just 3 hits and struck out 11 to get the win for Crystal Lake Central (17-7, 10-3). Katie Mauro went 1-for-3 with an RBI in the win.

Winning pitcher Andrea Starr threw a 2-hitter, striking out 8. Becca Walz hit a home run and had 4 RBIs and Krista Soesbe hit a 3-run homer for Elk Grove (25-3).

Seneca’s Nicole Pihl hit her 18th home run of the season, tying an IHSA state record. She also tossed a no-hitter, striking out 7 and walking just 2, to get the win in the circle.

Neha Manchanda was 3-for-3 with a double, 4 RBIs and 3 runs and Megan Meline was 3-for-4 with a triple and 4 RBIs for Vernon Hills. Meline (15-5)earned the win, giving up no hits and striking out 9 in 3 innings.

Lexi Leneau went 4-for-5 with 2 doubles and 5 RBIs and Sam Belletini was 3-for-3 with a triple and 3 runs scored for Warren (18-10, 10-3). Sara Shander had 4 hits, including a double, and scored 3 times in the win.

Erin Murphy went 2-for-3 with a double and 4 RBIs and Carrie Falasca had a triple for Wilmington (16-8, 11-5).
