Pat Haynes went 2-for-4 with a double and a home run and Ro Coleman was 2-for-3 with a triple and 4 RBIs for De La Salle. Winning pitcher Anthony Shimkus (3 H, 6 K) went 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs.

Anthony Castro earned the save for Eisenhower (7-16), going 1-2/3 innings and striking out 3.

Ben Krusen had a 2=run home run and Garrett Stalker tossed a complete-game, striking out 7 for the win for Glenbard West (14-18). Mark Terwilliger doubled in the win.

Winning pitcher Rodney Marshall went 3-for-3 with 4 stolen bases and 4 runs scored for Seton (8-18). William Thomas and Eron Evans each went 2-for-3 with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs and Curtis Cross had 3 hits, 5 stolen bases and 2 RBIs.

Paul Gregory went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI, and Stano Lio pitched 2-1/3 innings in relief to get the win for Shepard (11-19).

Brittany York went 2-for-3 with 2 doubles and 3 RBIs and Sara McConnell had a hit an and an RBI for Crystal Lake Central (23-7, 15-3). Prarie Ridge’s Erin Smith was 2-for-3 with a double, a home run and 2 RBIs in the loss.

DeKalb’s Jessica Townsend hit a 3-run home run and Mackenzie Johnson scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the 7th inning on a passed ball.

Katy LaCivita went 2-for-3 and had the game-winning sacrifice fly for Downers Grove South (24-6). Marissa Mersch closed within 9 hits of the all-time state record by going 3-for-4 with a double and a stolen base.

Dani Goranson struck out 14 to get the win in the circle for Elk Grove (28-4). Kristen Cenkovic went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI in the win.

Allie Gaeding with 3-for-3 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs and Megan Hubbard went 2-for-4 with a double and 3 RBIs for Fremd (25-5-1). Rachel Doering allowed just 1 hit and struck out 7 to get the win.
