Shaquille O’Neal, who recently retired after a fantastic 19-year NBA career in which he was a 15-time All-Star, was as dominating a force and as immovable an object as any who has ever appeared in professional basketball. He was not only a scoring machine (won two scoring titles and in ten seasons averaged over 26 points a game) but could win championships (four times). He also excelled in a number of other areas, as he was one of the greatest rebounders and shot blockers of his time. Along with Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, this behemoth, known affectionately as Shaq, has to rank as one of the greatest centers of all time.
