When I heard the news about

Arby’s sale today

I felt a little twinge of nostalgia for the fast food joint that transported me back to the ’70s, when I think I ate my last Arby’s sandwich.

This could be a clue as to why the home of the roast beef sandwich and horsey sauce is on its last legs.

You’d think with its lean meats, the chain would have done better at least among low-fat crowd. But alas, until recently the chain has had some of the worst same-restaurant sales in the industry.

As someone who has not visited in this millennium I can’t say I’m the best person to give advice, but we’d like to hear from readers about how they would advise Arby’s new owners on reviving the brand.

My two cents: Lose the name “horsey sauce” (if it survived the ’70s). It sounds like it’s either made from ground up horses or a popular sauce with the New England country club crowd.
