Edamame — You get some free to start, so pass on this.
Brussels sprouts — Sprouts and ‘shrooms play nice together.
Kasu mussels — slightly undercooked, which is to say, perfect.
Truffled tuna — cute, but truffle oil is overkill.
Wagyu beef tartare — well prepared; crispy chips make a great foil.
Duck fat yaki soba — yummy soup, firm noodles; touch of spice.
Tiny portions; order accordingly.
All fine; no misses here.
Piece of Tail — unfortunate name, but the braised pig tail is an umami-fest. Beautiful
Old City Market — spicy, complex, good.
Belly Roll — fun; great textures.
Funky industrial-loft space with anime decor touches.
Banging rock soundtrack is very noisy.
