In the Saturday paper there was a well written articulate letter from Alexy Levy. Alexy commented that “I see kids day in and day out sprinkling their conversations with f-bombs.” She went on to say that kids “should be making use of words that can enhance a conversation.”
I thought, point well taken. Good for her.
Then I turned the page. Under “Best Sellers, Non Fiction” the top-selling book is entitled “Go the F— to Sleep.”
Maybe there is reason to hope that our future adult citizens, those like Alexy, can overcome the example set by our current adults, like Mr.Mansbach, the author.
