Bravo to Steve Chapman for bringing to light the outrageous taxpayer subsidies for the ridiculous Essential Air Service Program.
Although saving $200 million may be “small stuff”, I am sure many other “small stuff” programs could also be eliminated. No wonder Congress receives such low approval ratings when they approve a subsidy to fly a few people a day from 120 small towns.
Let them take a bus.
