A robber held up a Loop bank this morning and fled on foot, last seen walking away on Lake Street near Wabash Avenue, authorities say.
The man approached a teller at the Chicago Community Bank branch at 52 East Lake Street. displayed a handgun and announced a robbery, the FBI said.
He grabbed an undetermined amount of cash and fled down Lake Street, the FBI said. No injuries were reported.
The robber was described as black, around 30, 5-foot-9, slim build and wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses and a shirt and tie.
