The Chicago Cubs are stuck between a rock and a hard place. They owe Carlos Zambrano more than $20 million. Zambrano is the amoeba-brained Cro-Magnon who has alienated the entire team with his antics. I believe a buyout or release would be in the best interests of both parties.
The Cubs clubhouse is in a constant state of fear waiting for this behemoth beast to explode. I have watched this pitiful team for countless years. However, it would be outstanding if the Cubs could inherit one of Z’s most admirable traits: He always had a fanatical desire to win at all costs.
