With the American economy held hostage by our massive debt and millions of Americans suffering all kind of economic woes, 12 supposedly level-headed U.S. legislators were assembled as a “supercommittee” to negotiate and compromise so as to come up with a bi-partisan debt reduction solution. How could these 12 legislators negotiate and compromise when six of them signed a pledge that hindered their negotiation abilities and stifled compromise? I think this is the work of a “stupid committee,” not a supercommittee!
