There could not be a more contradicting message and example being sent by the contradicting actions of our local and statewide Democrat party and those of their national counter parts.
In Washington, Democrats are locked in a polarizing battle with their Republican counterparts. Democrats want to raise taxes on wealthy individuals and large corporations, while here in Illinois, Democrats are poised to give (and have already given) huge tax breaks to large corporations in order for them to stay in our state, while at the same time raising taxes and fees, on just about everything, that will hit the average citizen very hard in their pocketbooks.
Which philosophy does this confused party really believe in?
