Love the new feature: the Chicago Flashback Page. The war-time headlines were captivating, mesmerizing.

As an aside, I noticed that the price of the daily Tribune showed to be “TWO CENTS” (and presume that the “TEN CENTS” were the Sunday editions) — and that was unchanged throughout the 1931-1941 period depicted. Made me wonder if that’s where the expression “putting one’s two cents in” comes from.
