After reading the quote from the Fox News interview with Cardinal Francis George, I cannot understand how one could say he is equating the gay liberation movement with the Ku Klux Klan. If the quote the Tribune printed is accurate, the Cardinal clearly states a hope that a transformation does not occur.

The problem is not so much context as it is perspective. The Cardinal is the local high authority of an organization that calls homosexuals “inherently disordered” while at the same time has a chronic history of covering up the crimes of many of its “inherently disordered” employees worldwide.

That is the context that matters.
