The Boston Red Sox are close to finding out what Theo Epstein is worth, according to a report from ESPNBoston’s Gordon Edes.
Edes reports that Boston will receive a quality minor leaguer from the Cubs, who hired Epstein as their president of baseball operations in October. Epstein had resigned as Boston’s GM with one year left on his contract, and the clubs have struggled to agree on fair compensation
